My fondest childhood memory is of being in my grandmother's kitchen helping to prepare delicious food from her old recipe book. Really funny recipes: "a little pinch of this, not too much of that, beat sufficiently but not too much, and when it is almost ready, you must beat a little bit more,..." Whatever she cooked, it was always cooked with love. Unforgettable recipes, practically illegible in her old book, but whenever I read it, I can almost smell the sweet aromas that are still part of my history.
